Tony George Framing was set up during the pandemic to provide a bespoke, high quality yet affordable framing service to local artists and photographers. This service has now been extended to all those who want a quality local framing service at a reasonable price.
Only good quality wood is used. No plastic or metal frames. Please note, this is a bespoke handcrafted service - no large machinery or automated cutting is used.

"3D lovers"
This is a canvas print which was on a broken stretcher frame. The client wanted it to be set inside a black lipped frame and screwed into the sides so the stretcher was pulled straight. The lipped frame was made from scratch with 2 coats of acrylic paint and waxed to seal. Size approx. 62cm x 62cm x 3.5cm.

"Golden Lights"
Acrylic on canvas with gold leaf for shimmer - set in approx 30cm square tray/float frame with 1 cm face and approx 5mm shadow gap. Canvas screwed to frame at rear.
Untitled by local artist, Dr. Leslie Lund
Painted using acrylic paint on canvas. Framed on tray/float frame with 5mm shadow round edge. Approx 75cm x 106cm x 4cm deep with 1cm face. Handmade moulding from scratch - glued and secured with v-nail wedges. Canvas screwed to frame to rear.

Origial photo print set in eco sourced black frame, sanded and cut to size. 2 coats of acrylic paint with a coat of finishing wax. New hanging furniture and flexible tabs fitted.
"Wonky Trees"
Set in eco sourced wooden frame, cut to size, sanded, then 2 coats of acrylic paint and covered with finishing wax. Eco glass cut to size, new flexible tabs fitted, new hanging furniture and cord added and finished with backing tape.

* Frame glass replacement due to cracked or missing glass. 2mm real float glass used - not plastic.

Returns and refunds
Frames will be delivered in person and I will spend time checking that you are happy with the frame. In the very unlikely event you are not happy, I will address any issues to the best of my abilities. However, after you have checked the frame and made payment on delivery, reframing or any other work and travel will only be done after further payment.
As all frames are bespoke and made to fit, I am unable to offer refunds.
Accidental damage caused to artwork during the course of framing is only covered up to maximum of £50 per item and can only be paid out on valid receipt for item in question and only if replacement item is readily available in the UK. This excludes damage caused by insufficient protection of artwork or unforeseen damage not caused by the framer.
